Camelot Media – Equipment Rental Terms & Conditions

1. Agreement to Terms

By renting equipment from Camelot Media (“the Company”), the Client agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Camelot Media reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice.

2. Booking and Availability

All rental requests are subject to availability and are not confirmed until Camelot Media has issued confirmation. Camelot Media reserves the right to refuse any booking at its discretion.

Any quotes issued by Camelot Media do not constitute an admission of the availability of any kit.

3. Payment Terms

50% of the agreed-upon price must be paid to secure the booking deposit and must be made prior to the collection or delivery of equipment. Failure to make payment within the agreed timeframe may result in the booking being cancelled. All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The remaining balance will be required upon the return of the equipment along with any additional payments for damages and losses of any equipment.

4. Collection and Return

The Client agrees to collect and return the equipment at the agreed dates and times. Equipment must be returned in the same condition as it was provided. Late returns will incur additional charges at Camelot Media’s standard daily or hourly rate.

5. Responsibility for Equipment

The Client assumes full responsibility for the equipment from the moment it is collected or delivered until it is returned and inspected by Camelot Media. The Client is liable for any loss, theft, or damage, regardless of cause.

6. Damage, Loss, and Repairs

In the event of damage, loss, or theft, the Client agrees to pay the full cost of repair or replacement as determined by Camelot Media. Camelot Media reserves the sole right to decide whether equipment is repairable or requires full replacement.

7. Use of Equipment

The Client agrees to use the equipment in a proper and safe manner and in accordance with all applicable laws. The equipment must not be sub-rented, modified, or used for unlawful or negligent purposes.

8. Insurance

Camelot Media maintains its own insurance coverage for its equipment; however, this insurance does not extend to or cover the Client. The Client remains fully responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to the equipment during the rental period.

In the event of any damage, loss, or theft, the Client agrees to pay all associated costs, including but not limited to repair, replacement, insurance excess, and any related fees. Camelot Media reserves the sole right to determine whether to repair or replace any equipment.

Camelot Media’s insurance may be used at its sole discretion, and any excess, uninsured costs, or additional expenses arising from a claim shall be borne entirely by the Client. The Client acknowledges that Camelot Media’s insurance is solely for the Company’s benefit and does not reduce or waive the Client’s liability under any circumstances.

9. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made within a 24 hour window prior to the rental date may be subject to a cancellation fee. Failure to collect the equipment without prior notice may result in full charges being applied.

10. Limitation of Liability

Camelot Media shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss arising from the use or inability to use the equipment, including but not limited to production delays, loss of income, or loss of data.

11. Identification and Verification

Camelot Media reserves the right to request valid identification, proof of address, and any additional documentation before approving a rental. Failure to provide satisfactory documentation may result in the refusal of service.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Malta.
